Do you know who some of the hardest workers in logistics are this holiday season? If you guessed some combination of denizens from the North Pole, we would say you are wrong. It’s our Stoecklin service team! Yes, that’s right. While most of us are relaxing and winding down, this group of dedicated professionals is hard at work.
Despite laboring throughout the year to keep all of the Stoecklin installations working at tip-top shape, the end of the year gives them a special opportunity….to work even harder. Most companies take their ASRS systems offline at the end of the year to do preventive maintenance.
Just like our service techs, the ASRS they maintain rarely get any time off. The ASRS work around the clock, thousands of hours a year in distribution centers ranging from pharmaceutical to e-commerce to grocery to automotive.
With all of the ASRS systems in a distribution center taken down at the end of the year, it gives our Stoecklin service teams a rare opportunity. It is all hands on deck to ramp up for this limited time.
Efficiency
This window for maintenance helps address any issues that may have been making the operation less efficient than optimal.
Improve
With all of the systems down at the same time our service teams have the chance to complete any hardware updates to components of the ASRS. Like the service teams, our R&D teams work throughout the year coming up with improvements to make each system work better.
Extend
This year end opportunity gives us the freedom to perform maintenance that helps extend the life of the ASRS system. As we mentioned earlier, these systems work day and night with little to no downtime. To keep them operating for the impressive amount of time we demand we must perform maintenance when we can.
If you would like to learn more about how Stoecklins dedicated elves, I mean service technicians, can help make your system run more efficiently reach out and let’s get a conversation started.
