Supply & Demand Chain Executive Names Stoecklin’s Urs Grutter Winner of the 2022 Pros to Know

FORT ATKINSON, WI & ATLANTA: Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the only publication covering the entire global supply chain, named Urs Grütter, CEO of Stoecklin Logistics Inc., a global provider of material handling solutions, one of the winners of the 2022 Pros to Know award, which recognizes outstanding executives whose accomplishments offer a

In selecting Grütter, SDCE highlighted his role in the strategic development of a new automated DC for a leading Swiss steel service provider that wanted to manage the product portfolio more efficiently and use less space. Grütter lead employees from several departments to design and implement the AS/RS solution, which met or exceeded all efficiency goals, including the practical elimination of picking errors. The learnings from this project will impact manufacturers
and distributors throughout the Stoecklin network by validating the productivity enhancements that have been the focus of so many companies during the last year.
